Nanny

A nanny is a professional, childcare provider who works in a family's home caring for their children on a full-time or part-time basis.  The role of a nanny is to provide high quality care that meets your child's physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs.  Typically, the nanny's responsibilities will include caring for a child but also meal planning and preparation, cleaning up after children, helping children with schoolwork, organizing and engaging in activities, disciplining, teaching new skills, etc.  Nannies can also transport children to classes, pre-school, routine medical appointments, swim lessons, etc. Housekeeping responsibilities are primarily child related and may include light household pick-up, loading and unloading the dishwasher and the children's laundry. Your nanny will work under the guidelines set by your family. However, teamwork between both parties often works best.  Our nannies are accustomed to making a 1-year commitment, however, temporary positions are also available.

Permanent Services

Positions that require a 12-month commitment would fall into this category.  Permanent positions can be full or part-time, but a contract is signed for a 12-month minimum.  The role of these nannies is to provide high quality care that meets your child's physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs.  Whatever service you choose, your nanny will work under the guidelines set by your family. However, teamwork between the nanny and the parents often works best.  We pride ourselves in having excellent permanent nannies.

Full Time Live-In/Live-Out Care
Our full-time nannies are generally of service to your family 32 to 50 hours per week. However, teamwork between the nanny and the parents often works best. Our nannies are accustomed to making a 1-year commitment, however, temporary positions are also available. Nanny salaries are based on their experience, education, and the expectations of the family.  Most of our full time nannies work on a salary basis that falls between $500-$600 per week for Live-Out, and $400-$500 for Live-In positions.

Part time Live-In/Live-Out Care
Part-time positions have the same criteria as listed above for full-time, except they are typically 30 hours or less per week.  The salary range for part-time is generally $11-$15 per hour for permanent positions.
